sporty

It was Sport's Day for Cami at school today. She wore Leila's old high school jersey. She looked adorable AND sporty! I HAD to take a photo of her in the uniform. Of course we also needed some action shots! Look at that form!! :) Another up and coming volleyball player! She's growing up so quickly... I'm a little sad to think that she is graduating from elementary school in just a couple short weeks. Where did the time go?

I began working on Gigi's banner today. I don't have a lot to show for it so far... Just a couple pages of doodles and sketches while I try and brainstorm. My brain is a little slow today, I think because of all the chemicals from doing the housecleaning earlier. (Good excuse, huh!?!) Gigi gave me a couple of examples of what she likes and I have an idea, I'm just having a hard time making my hand do what my brain is telling it to do! The translation isn't exact. I think I need to step away for a little while and come back to it a little later.

  1. LOVE the pics of my niece! I cannot believe she will be in middle school!! Tell her that her "graduation" present will be a little late. And Holy Cow, it's also Leila's bday coming up! Too fast, I tell you, too fast!!

Pollock was a huge mess but the kids loved the project. We got paint all over the side of their classroom building so I hope the janitor won't yell at us too much when he sees us on Monday. LOL!

Aren't the housecleaning chemicals supposed to be good for the imagination (as far as causing hallucinations, that is). Don't cramp your brain too much doing mine. I'm easy going. it beats what I don't have up right now - no banner at all. i am sure that whatever you come up with I will totally love.

We just got home and now need to get ready for award ceremony for cub scout (the boy is getting a bunch of awards). Sigh...I will not have time to bake for the Aunts tomorrow so I'll have to scout out a bakery. BTW, are you ever going to open up your HAsweets (in your abundant spare time :-))))?

    later! g

  2. It is crazy isn't it! Cami starting middle school this year AND Leila turning 21 in less than two weeks! This is a big year for both of them... You know that no graduation gift is necessary! We'll just celebrate the next time we all get together!

You're right about the hallucinations... I should have put them to work instead of just sitting at my desk staring at the wall! :)

I'm sure you'll find a terrific bakery! Have a good time with the aunts... HAsweets is still on the back burner. I'm hoping to get better at my multi-tasking skills eventually! :)

Congratulations on the cub scout awards! Please give him a big hug and kiss from us!!!

I bet you're happy that the art classes are over! So you left graffitti! I hope the janitor doesn't call the police...

OK... time to see what my little (big) one is doing!
