It's done... 57 photo cards packaged up into sets. I was very happy that I was able to resolve the wage dissatisfaction with the Oompah-Loompahs. They were a really big help in assembly line production! (OK... maybe I need to get outside for a little while...)

It felt so good to put this order together. The photos always seem to "pop" when I mount them onto the beautiful, white card stock. It's amazing what that little border does! No matter how many art photo cards I put together, I still get a little thrill that a beautiful photo has become a functional art piece to be shared OR framed. (I was so happy to read that one of my clients HAS framed one of the art cards she purchased! Yeah!)

I also FINALLY got to my camera and went through my beach shots from last week... Oh... what a gorgeous day it was! So beautiful AND so much fun spent with family! I still have lots of practice to do with my new camera... but I feel like I got some really nice shots. Want to check them out? Click here to see "The Beach" set I created on flickr. Looking at the photos makes me want to go back...

  1. PLEEEASE! Send us some heat! LOVE those beach pictures (at my favorite beach, right?!). But why was everyone wearing jackets?

Wow! That's a lot of work! Those cards are beautiful! I can't wait to see what you came up with for my banner.

I better get back to my Pollock sample - am a huge procrastinator when it comes to things I DON'T WANT TO DO"! talk to u soon!

  2. OooOOooOoooOoOoOO.....New camera?

you know i have to ask...what kind? Canon? SD750?

Nice pictures by the way. I especially like the picture of the stairs!!!

And if i didn't know what a kite surfer kite looked like, it looks as though Cami is throwing a crescent shaped boomerang instead of the football. haha...

  3. Gigi...

We were at your favorite beach! It was a perfect temperature day... The last couple of shots (with jackets) was at the end of the afternoon when the wind picked up and we had already put our "stuff" in the car. We were just taking a final walk along the coast before heading home. :)

I am excited to be working on your banner today! I hope I come up with something good... or I'll have to blame it on the Oompah-Loompah's or something. :)

Talk to you later! Good luck with your Pollock impersonation today!

  4. ART!!!

OK, OK, OK... being the total tech guy that you are I know you'll REALLY appreciate the new camera Norm got me!!!! Ready? Are you sitting?.... Canon, Rebel XSI!!! I feel SUPER fancy and professional when I pull that thing out to take photos! He also ordered me a fancy new telephoto/zoom lens that will hopefully arrive today... oh... I can hardly wait!! I'll be anxious to hear if this camera passes your "tech guy" approval...

I really liked the stairs shot too.. Thanks! I'm glad you caught the kite "boomerang", I thought it looked pretty neat.

Thanks for checking them out! I'll anxiously await your product review...

  6. Thanks Heather!
